Technical Records Lead
Excel are pleased to be working with a globally known leader within the aerospace and defence industry to source an Aerospace Technical Records specialist to join them on a permanent basis at their site in the South of the UK
Working within the continuing airworthiness department of the company, you will be responsible for leading the aircraft maintenance programmes and technical record function for their fleet of operational aircraft in line with international standards including EASA, CAA and UK MAA
Some of the key responsibilities of the role can be detailed as:
Ensuring that all maintenance programmes and records are created and kept within aviation regulations
Compiling and updating of maintenance programmes with support of the CAMO team
Review of maintenance programmes
Management of the airworthiness records system
Utilising the electronic CAMO system for aircraft management
Ownership of applicable international quality standards
The right candidate for this position will have an expert knowledge of CAMO principles from within the aerospace industry and a sound understanding of EASA, UK CAA, UK MAA and FAA regulations. It goes without saying that previous technical records experience within aviation will be essential and a background as an engineer in a maintenance field or a CAMO environment will be key to this one.
