Structures Operations Engineer

Excel are currently seeking a Structural specialist/Planner/CAMO engineer for a new contract opportunity based in Belgium to start as soon as possible for up to 6 months.

This will be an office based role working within the Operational Engineering department for our client –  as an engineer in the structures department, you will be active in a variety of CAMO aircraft structures activities including the management of aircraft structural repairs and designing and issuing of instructions for various works to the company fleet of aircraft.

You will be handling structural defects or out of limit issues picked up by their line maintenance/A check teams,  receiving information from the engineers on the line and then translating/interpreting this into a report that can be sent to the aircraft OEM or Part 21 company with a repair programme then needing to be implemented based on the information received from the OEM/Part 21

This position will also involve direct liaison/oversight of repair team on shop floor and almost certainly post repair activities inspection so familiarity with SRM is pretty essential, AMOS knowledge would be extremely useful.

We are looking for someone with good working knowledge of structural work and CAMO, able to manage workloads effectively and efficiently and oversee implementation of work packages.

Pay will be €40 per hour, with accommodation and flights provided for you.
