Quality and Compliance Engineer

Excel are happy to offer this exciting opportunity for a Quality and compliance engineer to join a globally known leader within their field on a permanent basis, based in the south of the UK. Our client is a civilian run company who are successfully established within the military and defence industries and we are looking for an experienced quality and compliance engineer who will be responsible for ensuring continued accreditation to the requisite aviation Regulations, allowing successful delivery of customer requirements while also providing technical, regulatory and international standards focal point for all areas of the business.

While working as a Quality and Compliance engineer, you will be responsible for applying countermeasures identified in applicable risk assessments, provision of compliance assurance and monitoring for all technical capabilities in accordance with: UK Part M/CAMO, UK Part 21, UK part 145, MRP 145, UK part 147, EASA part 147, BCAR A8 23 &25. One of the key responsibilities for this role will be to performance of internal and external audits against civil and military regulatory requirements, international standards and management of non-conformances raised in audits.

Due to the nature of the role, to be considered, you must:

Hold an internal or lead auditor qualification (ISO 9001 or suitable equivalent)
Excellent knowledge of civil and military aviation regulations (UK-CAA, MAA, EASA, FAA, MAOS)
Relevant Civil or Military aviation experience
Experience in quality management systems
Formal Aviation Engineering qualification
