Production Planner

Excel have a new 6-month fixed term contract opportunity for a Production Planner to join our globally known customer based in RAF Valley UK.

The position will include reporting to the planning manager, managing all aspects of Part 145 production planning. Generating packages of work, ensuring resource, spares and tooling are available and allocated and managing all associated documentation.

You will be responsible for:

• Quality checking of work packages
• Return of the work package to CAMO within the agreed timeframe.
• Instigating and drafting of pre-populated Work Orders and Task Cards for repetitive Part 145 Tasking
• Liaising with the Part M and Part 145 departments Liaising with other internal agencies to ensure that the AMP
• Carrying out other directed duties as discussed with the Planning Manager

For this role you will need some previous planning experience, whether specifically in a planning role or exposure to it while working hands on.  Ideally you will be able to show some experience in drafting/reviewing procedures against regulations and have worked with an aviation ERP system. We would also expect previous experience in Part 145 and Part M and knowledge of maintenance work packs, task cards and planning.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract with a very good chance of extension that offers a diverse and challenging workload and could be a good opportunity to move off the tools – if this sounds like you get in touch right away!
