B1 or B2 Permanent Opportunities

Excel have some new permanent opportunities for B1 or B2 licenced engineers for a major European Airline on a permanent basis to support line maintenance operations at their EU base.

The positions are permanent, so would require relocation so please consider this before applying – these are full time roles without rotation.

Qualification Requirements 

Either – EASA B1.1 / EASA B2

Ideally you would have a type rating (A320 would be preferable) on a fixed wing aircraft, although we can also consider those without type as well

Right to live and work in the EU

Strong experience in a line maintenance environment

Salary and shift explanation

39-44K EUR Base Salary – this depends on experience, but you can expect around €41k to €43k

Up to €6000 per year type allowance (depending on types)

Uplift for evenings or night shift

Public Holidays will be paid at 60% uplift, plus you will accrue 100% time off for Public Holidays worked.

Each year, the salary will increase a little to hedge inflation. In 2025, salaries are expected to increase 7.5%.

State Pension will be provided.

Type training opportunities will be available for employees. 

We appreciate that these positions will not be for everybody, however for some they may offer a suitable career path to improve experience or even get back into work in the Airline Industry.
