B1.1 Licenced Engineer UK PERM

Excel Technical Consulting have a new opportunity for B1 Licenced Engineers working for a Military Training Operator on a permanent basis, the position is based in Valley on the west coast.

Due to increasing work operations our client is looking for experienced B1 licence holders to join their team of professional engineers to support their base and line scheduled maintenance. Duties will include but not limited to tasks such as carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance including defect rectification and troubleshooting within the line and base maintenance environment. You will carry out flight line operations i.e. preparation of aircraft for daily flying, dispatch and recovery.

Other activities will consist of monitoring the performance of engineering staff and provide guidance and coaching when appropriate as well as carrying out internal audits and competency assessments of as staff as required. To be considered for this role you must have a EASA B1.1 Licence and the right to work within the UK. You will be expected to have detailed knowledge of CAA regulations and knowledge of military airworthiness regulations.

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £51,700 with additional type rating allowance, working on a Monday to Friday shift pattern of 40 hours.
