Airbus Maintenance Supervisor
Excel have a new opportunity for an experienced heavy maintenance supervisor or team leader to join a major MRO based in Europe on a contract basis, with the offer of at least 12 months work starting as soon as possible.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in heavy maintenance on Airbus types to work underneath the Base Maintenance Manager to help oversee ongoing maintenance including C and D checks, SBs, ADs, LG and engine changes.
You must have previous experience of supervising a team of engineers in their day to day work, as well as various other aspects of heavy maintenance management including planning, logistics, technical document management and more - this is less a 'hands on role' and more involved in team leader functions.
You don't need to hold an EASA licence, although this would certainly be helpful - but you do need to know what it takes to manage a smooth and efficient process, handling a team of licenced engineers, avionic engineers, mechanics and sheet metal workers to complete work packages.
